Dota hotkey for cancel12/24/2023 I use my middle finger to press 4 and Alt+4 (plus my thumb for alt obviously) and my pointer finger to press 5 and T. Typically I have non-active items or toggle items on V, TPs, Clarities or Arcane Boots / BoTs on Alt+4, anything on 4 and 5 (starting out I usually keep my Salves on 5), high priority items on T (BKB, Dagon, Sheep, Force, etc) and my personal highest priority targets on Space (Phase Boots, Blink, Force Staff if I don't have anything else to go here). I've had very good success with this layout, but maybe because it's my own creation. Level Skill on B and Level Stats on H, and I have the rest on default I believe. When I use qwerdf, I use V, Alt+4, 4, 5, T and Space. My F1 key doesn't work either, which sucks, but I have F2 for my hero, F3 for other units, F4 for all, and F5 for courier. B is is for teamfight items like Mek, Shivas, Armlet, etc. My blank X key is used for passive items like stout shield. Z is movement like blink, force staff, phase boots. 1 (stun), 2(burn), 4 (dagon), and 3 (carapace) for escape.Įvery item key also has its specific ability too. That allows me to kill people really easily by simply going down the row of keys. I always keep my dagon in my X spot with 4 bound. A good example of that is when I'm playing Nyx Assassin. However, when I'm using specific items with specific heroes, I take 4 and put it in that spot. When since my piece of shit keyboard's X key doesn't work, I have to leave that blank. I have to use 123456 for spells, 6 being ult and 4 & 5 being skills like doom's creep abilities. I use an ergonomic keyboard, which is good for other things, but terrible for playing dota. The rest is pretty much for Items that don't have an Active or Items that has kinda long cooldown like Abyssal Blade, Satanic, Shiva, Refresher, BKB, etc. Some examples are Armlet, Diffusal Blade, and maybe MoM. I usually don't buy both though, if that's the case, I use one of them for items that can used more than once in a teamfight (or Items with low cooldown). The second and third most used keys in my Item slots are Macro Button 2 and 5, and it's usually for Mobility Items like Force Staff and Blink Dagger. In early game where I don't have boots, it's for Tango. I almost always use the space Item slot for Phase/Treads, for practicing treadswitching and using phase often. ` (or ~) to Open shop, C for Quickbuy, V for Sticky, G to Take stash items. T for Voice chat, Y for Chat Wheel, J for Glyph. Macro Buttons 1-5 and space for Items (I use a Razer Naga Molten mouse which has a total of 14 Macro Buttons)ġ for Hero, 2 for Courier, 3 for all other units, 4 for all units.į3 for courier deliver items, B for courier speed boost. Q-W-E-D-F-R for spells (Basically the default one) So I can bottle crow and send it to the secret shop quickly. Z is to select all units but my hero, X selects my hero and C selects everything.į1 shows me the top rune F2 shows me the bottom rune F3 centers the camera on my hero and F4 selects the courier. Because it's an easy button to press quickly to react to things.ġ-2-3-4-5 etc are my control group buttons with TAB being my control group tab button. Spacebar is my blink dagger and Treads button. I also put bottle on b because it's a very easy button to spam. B and V I use for items that I need to target, hex, dagon, euls etc. Then I have caps lock for buttons i want to press twice quickly to self cast or toggle, Forcestaff, Treads. I use those for single press items like Mekansm, Buckler, Arcane boots, BKB and sometimes power treads. I have a mouse with two buttons on the side mouse4 and mouse5. I found the default Q-W-E-D-F-R to be great for my abilities and didn't change it. LIVE: PSG Quest vs Team Falcons - ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 - Closed Qualifiers 1925 ESL_Dota2VoidĢ4H Marathon!
